The Opportunity:

As a CACI-Mission & Engineering Services (M&ES) Physical Security Specialist, you will provide critical security support to a United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Joint Task Force (JTF). This role ensures security, compliance, and serves as the command advisor concerning physical security policies, projects, requirements, and compliance. The specialist will leverage their expertise in Electronic Security Systems (ESS) to support Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) construction and accreditation, as well as general facility security. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) security regulations and best practices.

This position is located in Tampa, Florida and candidates are required to have an active TS/SCI Clearance to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Security Strategies: Develop and apply Electronic Security Systems (ESS) strategies to achieve asset protection goals and objectives required for building security and SCIF accreditation.

  • Security Requirement Compliance: Ensure ESS compliance with current ICD/ICS-705 policies and guidance.

  • Site Security Inspections: Conduct periodic security inspections to ensure adherence to the contracted ESS design plan.

  • Electronic Security Systems: Assist with designing, implementation, and enforcing procedures to control and deny unauthorized secure facility access.

  • Personnel and Procedural Oversight: Oversee all aspects of ESS installation during facility construction.

  • Record Keeping: Maintain ESS documentation records throughout the project duration.

  • Material and Personnel Inspection: Develop and implement ESS inspection methods for approved construction materials, hardware devices, and equipment testing.

  • Surveillance Operations: Coordinate and manage ESS construction operations to maintain compliance with security standards.

  • Policy and Regulation Application: Apply extensive knowledge of DoD policies, ICD/ICS requirements, and administrative regulations to ensure ESS compliance. Develop and implement innovative ESS techniques to support SCIF construction and accreditation.

  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate ESS records and documentation necessary for SCIF accreditation.

  • ESS Project Closeout: Oversee demobilization and project closeout activities, ensuring all security-related requirements are fulfilled.

  • Security Strategy Development: Develop and implement ESS strategies to support construction efforts and ensure successful facility accreditation.

  • Participation in Meetings: Participate in meetings, in-progress reviews, integrated concept and product teams, working groups, and design meetings as directed by the customer MILCON Action Officer (AO).

Qualifications:

Required: _ _

  • Current Top Secret/SCI security clearance with eligibility for CI Polygraph.

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited university + Seven (7) years of security experience specifically related ICD-705 SCIF construction, Government asset protection measures, technical application of Electronic Security Systems (ESS), physical security operations, or a combination of these experiences. 

  • Expert understanding of the IC Technical Specifications for Construction and Management of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities Version 1.5.1 IC Tech Spec-for ICD/ICS 705 as demonstrated by experience working on multiple SCIF/SAPF projects.

  • Construction Drawings and Specifications Reading, Understanding, and Application Knowledge.

  • Experience with planning or accrediting facilities in accordance with the ICD-705 standards.

  • Valid US Passport

  • Demonstrates ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.

  • Construction Inspection (CI) / 3-Phase Quality Control Certification

  • GSA Locksmith Certification

  • Access Control Certification

  • Site Security Manager (SSM) experience

  • Construction Surveillance Technician (CST)

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$63,700 - $134,000
