Job Title: Purchasing Assistant

Job Description

Creation and maintenance of Purchase Orders. Maintenance items could include updating things like pricing, vendor changes, or adding/deleting items to a certain purchase order. Running monthly reports. Conducting special research projects. Problem-solving and troubleshooting when errors/warnings occur in systems. Typing and 10-key data entry of information related to purchase orders. Communicating among the Purchasing Assistant team as well as the Divisional Purchasing Departments via internal communication system, email, and phone.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Environment

We will be one to two day in office per week until end of year, then 5 days per week starting 2025. There are 25 purchasing assistants who support 11 different geographical divisions. Team is comprised of Purchasing Assistants, Purchasing Assistant Leads, and a Purchasing Assistant Manager.
