Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Environmental Health & Safety Teams ensure and monitor safety in the workplace. This includes the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with TE, environmental and government regulations.

Tasks and Responsibilities

The EHS Analyst is responsible for ensuring and promoting workplace safety across warehouses and distribution centers in GLOG North Africa. This includes implementing and monitoring health, safety, and hazardous materials standards, procedures, and practices in alignment with company policies, environmental regulations, and government requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

•Oversee the application and adherence to established safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.

•Communicate health, safety, and hazardous material practices effectively to all staff.

•Provide technical expertise in implementing Global Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) programs across all GLOG North Africa operations.

•Monitor compliance with environmental and safety standards, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.

•Collaborate with teams to drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement in EHS practices.

This role is integral to maintaining high safety standards within the logistics and distribution network, ensuring compliance and fostering a safe and efficient working environment.

What your background should look like:

A Master’s degree, ideally in Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) or a technical discipline such as Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), preferably in a manufacturing environment. Basic knowledge of Federal and State regulations, health and wellness standards, ISO 14001 / ISO 45001, and business continuity planning is required.

•Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

•Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, including the ability to develop multiple solutions to challenges and provide well-founded recommendations.

•Competence in understanding and executing processes, such as identifying customer needs, communicating process updates, measuring outcomes, and pinpointing areas for improvement.

•Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
