What is the job about?

As a Global Program Development Manager within Dosing (https://product-selection.grundfos.com/products/dosing-pumps-digital?tab=products) & Disinfection (https://product-selection.grundfos.com/products/disinfection-systems?tab=products) area , your primary responsibility is to spearhead the development of our most intricate and vital product and offerings programs, along with strategically crucial projects, ensuring a secure and successful journey from inception to delivery. You'll create the best-practice project and program management at Grundfos, employing internationally recognized governance models, tools, and processes such as PRINCE2. Your role involves both coordinating functional tasks and ensuring alignment with our broader strategic goals. This critical position requires a comprehensive approach to navigate complexity and deliver impactful results in the fast-paced landscape of our business.

The position can be based in Hungary Székesfehérvár or in Hungary Tatabánya.

It would require around 25% of travelling.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Executing development of large and complex programs within INDUSTRY Dosing and Disinfection

  • Ensure effective project implementation, meeting Scope, Quality, Cost, Time, Benefits, and Risks tolerances for a defined Project Owner.

  • Take a holistic End-to-End value chain perspective, coordinating across major functions like sales, business development, product development, quality assurance, purchase, and operations.

  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from mandate to market launch to handover to maintenance.

  • Deliver the financial business case for assigned projects.

  • Ensure compliance with Grundfos project governance model and PRINCE2 standards, meeting mandatory gate requirements, and utilizing the GPDM toolbox.

  • Excel in Stakeholder Management for functions impacted by the project.

  • Mentor and coach relevant colleagues within the organization.

Your background

We imagine that you have:

  • Master's or bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or Business from a globally recognized institution.

  • 8-10 years of relevant work experience.

  • PMP/PRINCE2 certified.

  • Significant background in developing complex projects within product and program management.

  • Experience in as many value chain areas as possible.

  • Solid business understanding, including comprehensive financial understanding.

  • Hands-on experience with strategic change management projects in a multinational matrix environment.

  • Proficient in working in a LEAN Agile environment, handling software and hardware deliveries.

  • Visionary and committed by enthusiasm and curiosity for new technologies.

  • Capable of implementing multiple high-profile programs and projects to completion.

  • People management experience is advantageous.

  • Understanding digital transformation and hands-on experience with running digitalization projects is a key advantage.

  • Willingness to travel as required.

  • Motivated with a proven ability to work across all organizational levels.
