Adecco is assisting a local client in Teaneck, NJ in their search for an Accounting Manager to join their team. If you meet the qualifications below, apply now!
Responsibilities:
Completion for month-end, quarter-end, year-end closing & account reconciliation
Supervision for senior accountants and accountants (including review their journal entries and reconciliations).
Process improvement for the any area in “record to report” and “purchase to pay”.
Creation, revision, deletion of chart of account, business unit
Supervision in process of daily JEs, FA, CIP, Credit Card, Bank transactions.
Window with financial institutions, cash management, forecast, financial cost control
Approve payments for ACH, wire and checks every week
Resolve any payment related issues.
Work with the external financial auditor for interim and year-end financial audit.
Perform self-assessment of JSOX for the responsible areas (GA and FA).
Complete census data.
Address issues relating to its responsible area with other departments’ leaders or parent company based on direction from senior manager, escalation to senior controller to get support if necessary.
Meet deadline for financial closing
Qualifications:
CPA required
Good understanding for accounting rule (especially IFRS) and needs to provide solution to incorporate such idea into our real operation and to have constructive communication skill to get understanding and support from other departments to solve issues.
Experience with JDE (ERP) is a plus
Experience with DIVA is a plus
Strong communication skills to work interdepartmentally
Pay Details: $55.29 to $60.10 per hour
