Honeywell Advanced Project Engineer in Tempe, Arizona
Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Aerospace Motion Control Systems (MCS) product line. You will partner with world class engineering's and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting MCS product development, qualification, production, fielded, and supplier transition activities/projects across Honeywell sites – Tempe, Torrance, and Mexicali
Project Engineering and Project Management of Assigned Projects/Programs
Responsible to take ownership and drive closure of assigned tasks/activities/projects/programs
Project management skills, performance. and execution
Cost, schedule, and milestone development/management
Risk (threats/opportunities) development and management
Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) analysis in the resolution of technical issues
Customer and supplier technical communication and relationships
Technical requirements management – Decomposition of technical customer and product requirement
Technical problem-solving skills
Compose technical documentation – Presentations, test plans, test procedures, test reports, etc.
Analysis of test data results
Assess Government regulatory requirements (ex DO-160)
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
Minimum 5+ years of project engineering experience

Familiarity with Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics (RTCA), DO-160, Environmental Conditions and Test Procedures for Airborne Equipment
Familiarity with Honeywell Internal Aerospace Procedure, AP-1034, In-Service Resolution Process (IRP)
Experience in Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Control Account Management (CAM)
