Insight Global Remote Data Governance Solution Architect - MUST BE EST OR CST in Tempe, Arizona

Job Description

A client in Tempe, AZ is searching for a Data Architect to join their team. The Data Architect will be responsible for data governance and Master Data Management for the client on a global scale. The role involves bringing in data from various sources, ensuring data quality, and determining how to make it accessible to users. Additional Responsibilities:

 Develop and implement data governance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and availability

 Work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and data scientists to understand data requirements and provide solutions that align with business goals

 Oversee the integration of data from multiple sources, ensuring consistency and accuracy across the data landscape

 Implement and monitor data quality metrics, and take corrective actions to address data quality issues

 Ensure compliance with data governance standards and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant data protection laws

 Lead the implementation and management of data governance tools and platforms, including Databricks, Snowflake, TIBCO EBX, and Otticoma/Informatica

 Provide training and support to data users on data governance policies, procedures, and best practices

 Maintain comprehensive documentation of data governance processes, data flows, and data lineage

 Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance data governance capabilities

Skills and Requirements

10+ years of experience as a Data Governance Solution Architect with a strong emphasis on establishing and maintaining data governance frameworks

 Extensive experience working with Databricks, specifically utilizing its capabilities to support data governance and ensure data quality

 Experience with Snowflake, focusing on data governance, data integration, and maintaining data integrity

 Experience with TIBCO EBX, specifically in the context of Master Data Management and data governance

 Experience working with Otticoma or Informatica, with a demonstrated ability to implement and manage data governance solutions using these platforms

 Experience with Azure, including data governance, data storage, and data management within the Azure ecosystem null
