Amazon Sr. Manager, RSR and AMXL, Flex BOSS in Tempe, Arizona

This role affords an opportunity to work on the cutting edge of innovation, while directly contributing to driving an improved experience for Amazon customers and Delivery Partners. As a leader for NA Flex Business Optimization, Strategy, and Scaling (BOSS), you will own strategy and initiatives around improving areas such as cost, quality, delivery partner experience, and expansion. The focus of this role is on the AMXL and RSR (Rural/Super Rural) businesses.

This role requires a high-level of ownership over the end-to-end process, the ability to think outside of the box, willingness to disrupt the current processes to create a new process, and the ability align stakeholders to sustainable solutions across multiple organizations. This role will have a high-degree of influence over the program’s vision / growth, requires scoping multiple large ambiguous projects in parallel, managing the team to achieve project timelines, and communicating to senior management on status, risks, and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential.

Key job responsibilities

• Identifying programmatic trends and influencing the strategic and technology teams program prioritization

• Owning the long-term road map for improving business results in AMZL and RSR

• Work closely with business teams, field teams, capacity planning, pricing, driver support, data science, and other worldwide teams on strategic improvements and initiatives

• Make difficult resource trade-offs and secure alignment on key priorities

• Work closely and be a SME in AMXL and RSR to better understand day-to-day opportunities and pain points

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of team management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
