DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will confidently execute a range of skilled and semi-skilled tasks focused on repairing and maintaining machinery, buildings, bridges, and equipment. You will conduct daily building inspections to ensure the highest upkeep and safety standards for the construction and its surroundings. Your expertise will be applied to effectively maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire safety systems while proactively recommending any necessary follow-up or additional work. You will monitor and strategically adjust the building's HVAC system, expertly managing HVAC controls and programming.

You will precisely manage the maintenance and repairs of county maintenance office properties. Additionally, you will oversee the upkeep, repair, and replace critical structures such as bridges, culverts, and buildings, leveraging your advanced skills across multiple disciplines. Your role will also require you to operate various construction equipment. This will include you using welders, concrete saws, and power tools proficiency to complete assigned tasks successfully.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Schedule may be subject to change seasonally or due to weather Travel and overtime may be required.

Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $39,785.00 (before taxes). Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities. Special Requirement:

This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License. Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
