Business Development Director / Aero, Auto, Health, Cyber BU Director
Role Purpose Statement: the BUM is accountable for the top and bottom line of its P&L, the client satisfaction, the performance of the BU and the LTO conformity
What you will do:
Define and execute the BU strategy
Ensure BU strategy is aligned with BVCNA Strategy
Own the BU P&L and present the monthly business review
Forecast monthly revenue, OP and Organic growth
Secure LTO
Optimize accreditation model in relation to Technical department processes.
Define the BU portfolio of services and lead the innovation process of the BU
Contribute to the marketing and communication plan for the BU related services
Identify M&A opportunities in the scope of the BU services.
Drive market intelligence (competition, market, trends…..)
Drive the Revenue growth challenging (sales plan, targets, resources) and supporting (training, sales meeting, leads generation….) the Sales team
Boost the business development activating interested parties of the industry / sector to gain in notoriety and develop indirect sales (consultants, business partners, leaders, medias…..)
Be the voice of BV in the BU industry participating to webinars, whitepapers, events, trainings….
Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate improvements as necessary
Be ambassador of the BU stakes to external parties (Accreditation bodies, Authorities, Professional associations….) and internal parties (Global Business line, BV network….) in coordination with BVC ExCom members
Challenge and propose optimization of the BU operational model to the Director of Operations to reach excellence in operations
Oversee day-to-day operations of the BU, ensuring efficiency and compliance with relevant standards, procedures and regulations and manage appropriate escalations when necessary (timing, deliverables, qualifications….)
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor and improve the client focus and satisfaction
Support the resource management (forecasting, sourcing, onboarding, training….) in relation with HR, the Operation and Technical departments and the Field Resource Manager
Manage the BU auditors (expenses, PTO, performance….)
Lead and motivate the teams involved in the BU processes, providing guidance, training, and support
Foster a collaborative and positive working environment within all stakeholders (departments, GBL….)
Perform audits to maintain the qualifications, to manage urgencies and KA and to optimize the BU OP performance, support cash collection in relation with the Director of operations and Finance team
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business, management, quality assurance, etc.); Master’s degree is a plus.
Extensive experience in management system certification
Strategic vision and financial expertise
Proven leadership and management experience.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
