At CMCS (Cardinal McCloskey Community Services), our mission is to protect, empower and promote independence for at-risk children and families and those with developmental disabilities through quality community based services.

As a Article 31 Clinician, you will provide a range of behavioral health services as well as limited health services for children and their families in our Westchester County Satellite Clinic, located in Ossining, NY. The Clinician will be responsible for providing individual, group and family therapy, mental health crisis intervention for individuals ranging from 3 to 24 years old. The Clinician will establish and maintain ongoing communication with all members of the treatment team.

THIS POSITION IS HYBRID WITH ONE AFTERNOON A WEEK IN PERSON

SCHEDULE IS TUES & THURSDAY 3-7PM AND SATURDAY 9AM-5PM

Requirements

• Master's level clinician with a degree in social work, mental health counseling and/or marriage and family therapy

• LMHC or LMSW Licensure required. Limited-permit accepted (LMHC or LMSW).

• Minimum one year experience providing clinical assessments/treatments, and/or case management services for children/adolescents and families.

• Knowledge of the complex issues presented by children and families who are involved in the child welfare system.

• Have some working knowledge of NYC systems including ACS, OMH, and DOE.

• Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

  Additional Requirements

• Preference is given to staff who have been trained in any evidence-based models of care for children and families

• Familiarity with OMH operated Article 31 clinics, Part 599 regulations is preferred

• Understanding of and appreciation of the roles of race, religion, ethnicity, sexual preference and individual values as they relate to servicing client and families.
