Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

You will be responsible for cleaning at a large data center that is currently under construction in The Dalles. Your tasks will include wiping down server racks, sweeping, mopping, and dusting the facility. The role requires standing for 8 to 10 hours a day and occasionally working at heights of 6-8 feet. Steel toe boots are mandatory for this position. This is a long-term project with the potential to last over a year, and top performers may be considered for permanent positions.

Responsibilities

• Wipe down server racks

• Sweep, mop, and dust the facility

• Stand for 8 to 10 hours a day

• Work at heights of 6-8 feet when necessary

• Complete new hire orientations on the first day

• Arrive at 5:45am on the first day for orientations

• Lift up to 50lbs consistently

Essential Skills

• Janitorial or sanitation experience

• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods

• Willingness to work at heights (6-8 feet)

• Steel toe boots

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Customer service experience

• Experience with buffers or cleaning equipment

Work Environment

You will be working primarily in IT facilities and clean room environments. The shift is from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with some overtime required (8 to 10 hour shifts). The work environment is focused on maintenance and the remediation of contamination to reduce productivity losses and downtime.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
