Description:
• Reviews backlog and marketing forecasts in conjunction with planners and buyers to develop and execute production plans consistent with customer requirements and corporate objectives. • Drives improvements in the overall process efficiencies and communications to key stakeholders. • Performs schedule analyses, including critical path analyses and schedule issue identification and resolution. • Helps assess, procure, and implement a manufacturing execution software (MES) solution • Monitors in-plant transfer of materials to meet production standards. • Troubleshoots problem situations and coordinates the rearrangement of production schedules with affected departments to supply required assemblies and subassemblies at the proper time while compensating for raw material shortages, failure of vendors to deliver, rush order priorities and possible equipment failure. • Prepares and presents analysis on schedule status and overall performance to schedule. • Communicates with facilities outside the plant that are a part of the company to ensure internal customer needs are being met.
