Aerotek Cnc Router Operator in Tigard, Oregon
CNC Router Operator $22-28/HR
What you’ll do:
Set up and operate CNC Routers for flat and formed parts to inch and metric specs.
Act as a technical resource for tooling and machining capabilities.
Evaluate and justify new tooling and machining processes.
Communicate issues related to work orders, programming errors, material shortages, or other concerns.
Focus on reducing material, labor, and scrap.
Perform minor maintenance activities as per the preventive maintenance program.
Engage in continued learning and training (including ISO 9001, safety, blueprint reading, and teamwork).
Maintain a clean work area.
Record job tracking details.
Differentiate and machine various plastics and materials.
Lead large projects from start to finish.
Interact with engineering on part designs and provide advice on corrective actions.
Document red lines and monitor line side inventory.
Perform other duties as needed.
What you bring:
High school diploma/equivalent or AA in Machine Technology.
Good math skills (especially trigonometry).
Experience in machining various plastics and materials.
Ability to machine to a .005 tolerance.
Proficiency with inspection tools, CNC programming, and various cutting tools.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOMs, and use manual machines.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work in a team.
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Ability to lift and carry products up to 35 pounds.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00
