CNC Router Operator $22-28/HR

What you’ll do:

• Set up and operate CNC Routers for flat and formed parts to inch and metric specs.

• Act as a technical resource for tooling and machining capabilities.

• Evaluate and justify new tooling and machining processes.

• Communicate issues related to work orders, programming errors, material shortages, or other concerns.

• Focus on reducing material, labor, and scrap.

• Perform minor maintenance activities as per the preventive maintenance program.

• Engage in continued learning and training (including ISO 9001, safety, blueprint reading, and teamwork).

• Maintain a clean work area.

• Record job tracking details.

• Differentiate and machine various plastics and materials.

• Lead large projects from start to finish.

• Interact with engineering on part designs and provide advice on corrective actions.

• Document red lines and monitor line side inventory.

• Perform other duties as needed.

What you bring:

• High school diploma/equivalent or AA in Machine Technology.

• Good math skills (especially trigonometry).

• Experience in machining various plastics and materials.

• Ability to machine to a .005 tolerance.

• Proficiency with inspection tools, CNC programming, and various cutting tools.

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOMs, and use manual machines.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work in a team.

• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

• Ability to lift and carry products up to 35 pounds.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00
