Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our construction supply distribution team. In this role, you will use material handling equipment, such as forklifts, to unload shipments, organize materials in the warehouse, pull orders for customers, and ensure order accuracy. Excellent customer service is essential as you will interact with customers, though you will not be involved in sales.

Responsibilities

• Use forklifts and other material handling equipment to unload shipments from vendors.

• Place materials accurately in the warehouse.

• Pull customer orders and ensure the accuracy of the items pulled with the customer’s purchase.

• Interact with customers and provide high-quality service.

Essential Skills

• Forklift operation experience.

• Warehouse experience.

• Material handling experience.

• Experience with order picking and loading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior production or machine operation experience.

• Ability to work well as part of a team.

• Comfortable working around fiberglass.

Work Environment

You will work in a large, open warehouse that holds construction supplies, similar in appearance to a Lowe's or Home Depot. The bay door is always open, so the temperature inside will closely match the outdoor temperature.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of TIGARD, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00
