Meta Operations coordinator in Tokyo, Japan

Summary:

The Operations Coordinator will play an exciting and important role in the overall daily execution of RL consumer electronics products in support of our B2B Partners. The Coordinator will report into the regional Channel Operations Manager. The Analyst will support the order to cash activities, reporting, and other initiatives or project assignments as needed/required. The candidate should be familiar with supply chain concepts, such as; inventory, supply, allocations, orders, sales forecasting and fulfillment processes. This position will have the opportunity to work with cross functional teams spanning sales, logistics, planning, finance, Partners such as; Distributors, Retailers and Meta’s 3rd party logistics providers.

Required Skills:

Operations coordinator Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure timely and accurate purchase order entry into the system and resolve any order processing delays (i.e. approvals, data transmission errors, etc.)

  2. Ensure timely and accurate allocation and CPFR sell in plans in the tools as applicable

  3. Communicate order status, ETAs and tracking information to Partners and internal teams

  4. Monitor Distribution Partners, tier 2 Retailers and internal DC inventory health.

  5. Accountability for oversight of RMA processing by RMA coordinator and confirm validity of returned goods with 3rd party fulfillment partner

  6. Sense and respond to sell-in , sell-out, and sell through to ensure optimal supply availability throughout the channel

  7. Work with 3rd party fulfillment provider to assist in resolving operational process or transactional issues as required

  8. Liaise with Finance on order approvals, customer deductions, stock rotations, returns, and delivery confirmations

  9. Provide project support and assistance as assigned or required

  10. Perform system and physical inventory reconciliation as required

  11. Collaborate closely on account management with Channel Operations CPFR planners

  12. Assist with onboarding and administrative details to meet targets and ensure all systems are updated with accurate information for transacting business

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 2+ years directly supporting Retail, Carrier and/or Enterprise Partners, including commercial terms, SLA’s, order and inventory management

  2. Fluent communication in English

  3. Retail experience required, Enterprise or Telco/carrier experience highly desired

  4. Analytical skills required (Intermediate to advanced level in Excel)

  5. Demonstrated experience in presenting to a wide range of audiences e.g. engineering, technical operations, 3rd party vendors, etc.

  6. Effective organizational and time-management skills to fulfill daily, weekly, monthly deliverables

  7. Genuine care and concern for meeting others’ needs and delivering against objectives and timelines

  8. Experience with using Oracle ERP, Excel, Tableau

  9. B.S. Degree in Business or Supply chain related field

  1. 5+ years of supply chain experience (at least one year with management experience).

  2. Demonstrated Microsoft Suite skills

  3. Fluent communication in English

  4. Experience with order management in an ERP system, Oracle, SAP, Other.

  5. Retail experience required, Enterprise or Telco/carrier experience highly desired

  6. Proven experience in handling changing priorities in a deadline focused environment and adapt to new internal tools and processes quickly

  7. Effective organizational and time-management skills to fulfill daily, weekly, monthly deliverables

  8. Demonstrated experience in presenting messages to a wide range of audiences e.g. engineering, technical operations, 3rd party vendors, etc.

  9. Genuine care and concern for meeting others’ needs and delivering against objectives and timelines

  10. Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply chain or related field is preferred
