About the Job:

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and thought leader. You will work closely with customers to design solutions that leverage our Generative AI services and infrastructure. By directly engaging with clients, you will help them understand their business challenges, guide them through the implementation of generative AI solutions, and conduct both briefing and deep dive sessions to advise on effective adoption strategies.

As a member of the Customer Strategy and Specialist AI JAPAC Team, you will collaborate with OCI Cloud sales and engineering teams to incubate, pilot, and deploy OCI Generative AI services within enterprises, AI Labs, and startups. You will create reference architectures, implement use cases, and produce white papers, blogs, and presentations to empower customers and partners to maximize their use of Generative AI on OCI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate the unique advantages of OCI Cloud by engaging with customers, showcasing features, tuning models, optimizing performance, and conducting profiling and benchmarking.

  • Develop repeatable technical assets such as workshops, scripts, and reference architectures to facilitate the adoption of OCI's AI and Generative AI portfolio.

  • Architect end-to-end Generative AI solutions with a focus on LLMs and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows.

  • Promote OCI Generative AI services and share best practices through events, public forums, blogs, white papers, and reference architectures.

  • Mentor OCI field Cloud Engineers on Generative AI solutions to enhance awareness and adoption through proof of concepts, workshops, and customer/partner enablement.

  • Travel as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, modern data platforms, systems architecture, design, and implementation.

  • Knowledge and experience with AI and Generative AI platforms, specialized infrastructure, LLM design, and use cases.

  • Proven track record in designing and implementing solutions, along with expertise in relevant tools and technologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical issues related to AI, ML, and Generative AI applications.

  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) and databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL), with experience developing and executing AI solutions across various cloud data platforms, data stores, Graph Stores, and Vector Stores.

  • Understanding of GPU cluster architecture and experience leveraging parallel processing for accelerated model training and inference.

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience delivering and leading workshops, training sessions, and presenting technical solutions to diverse audiences.

  • High fluency in Japanese is essential for this role.
