Job Title: 1st Shift Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

• Seeking an industrial maintenance electrician

• Position involves 70% electrical, 30% mechanical, and some building maintenance tasks

• Perform mechanical repairs on coating rooms, ovens, incinerators, slitter lines, upenders, conveyor lines, and shrink wrap machines

• Conduct mechanical repairs on pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, motors, bearings, bushings, cylinders, valves, and conveyors

• Handle electrical troubleshooting up to 480v, including relays, control panels, motors, and faults

• Responsible for basic machining tasks, including using Bridgeports Mills and Lathes

• Perform building maintenance tasks such as painting and plumbing

• Conduct MIG and Stick welding on mild/cold rolled steel

• Perform machine installations and installations

• Read and interpret blueprints

• Troubleshoot, debug, and perform preventative maintenance (PM) on equipment

• General shop cleanup duties

Pay/Shift/Additional Information:

• 2 openings available

• 1st shift: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm

• 3rd shift: Sunday to Thursday, 11pm to 7am

• Current working hours: 3am to 3pm and 3pm to 3am

• Expected to work the next 4 to 5 weekends due to preparation for 2025

• Average work hours: 40-72 hours per week

• Pay rate: $32.47 per hour; additional $0.40 per hour for off-shift\

• Pay increase to $33.44 per hour in May 2025

• Union plant: United Steel Workers
