The Internal Audit Consulting Group drives the achievement of Humana’s strategic and financial objectives. The IT Internal Auditor 1 provides value-added service by evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of Humana’s information systems and related procedures to ensure compliance with the organization’s policies, procedures and standards.
The IT Internal Auditor 1 audits information system applications to ensure that appropriate controls exist and information produced by the system is accurate. Work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
Detailed role responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform IT audit projects and consulting engagements in accordance with established methodology and within budgeted timeframes
Perform walkthroughs and design testing of various Humana IT business segments, concluding on design and effectiveness
Work collaboratively with other internal audit team members to support company and team goals
Execute the audit plan as directed by leader
Use professional concepts while consistently applying standard skills and techniques
Use your skills to make an impact
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Finance, or related field
Ability to manage multiple or competing priorities
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Team-oriented; optimistic attitude
Preferred Qualifications
Prior audit experience (e.g. creating audit work papers)
Certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, PMP, CFE (or in process of obtaining)
Data Analytics / Business Intelligence experience a plus. Prior experience with data analytics tools, including but not limited to, PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, R & Python

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$59,300 - $80,900 per year
