Canadian Tire Assoc Manager, Digital Flyer in Toronto, Ontario

What you'll do

Canadian Tire Retail is undergoing a transformation, where automation of processes, richer insights extracted from data, and continuous improvements to the customer experience are the core focus. As an Associate Manager, you will be project managing various customer promotion projects to help improve production processes, propel the acceleration of the digital flyer evolution and other projects as they arise. The Associate Manager of Customer Promotions Production will play a crucial role in driving this evolution through strategic planning, project management, data mining and team collaboration.

  • Actively managing work back schedules, roadmaps and writing briefs to ensure task accountability and on time delivery

  • Present and review designs/process maps with developers and key stakeholders

  • Work closely with business stakeholders and developers to understand business and functional requirements, as well as technical considerations

  • Conduct and/or coordinate design walkthroughs, feedback sessions and usability testing to validate proposed design solutions with stakeholders

  • Actively monitoring and documenting weekly KPI’s

  • Staying informed of market trends and industry changes to advise internal teams on potential new capabilities

  • Networking, collaborating and challenging the status quo to continuously improve the customer experience

  • Leading change in ambiguous and new environments

  • Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships to better understand how to use new and existing data and tools

  • Digital Flyer Tasks:

  • Take ownership of accelerating the digital flyer evolution and strategy to help drive digital adoption

  • Collaborating with CTC’s UX/UI team to ensure the customer experience is consistent and on brand

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure the design quality is maintained across various platforms i.e. desktop, mobile, app

  • Identify opportunities to optimize and improve the performance of digital flyers through data analysis and testing

What you bring

  • University Degree preferably in Business/ Marketing

  • 3-5 years experience in merchandising, marketing and/or retail

  • Proven experience project managing large projects

  • Well-developed organizational skills with the proven ability to effectively balance competing projects and demands

  • Excellent influencing, communication, ownership and interpersonal skills

  • Analytical skills with the ability to evaluate alternatives, draw conclusions and make recommendations

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and make recommendations with limited direction, within an approved framework

  • Solution based thinking

  • Demonstrated presentation, report/brief writing, and communication skills

  • Ability to establish rapport with others and build relationships that are beneficial in achieving work-related goals
