Program Overview – Project Management Office, Central Services
Straddling the divide between a traditional PMO and a Strategic Projects division, the Project Management Office delivers high impact and high-quality work, leading large-scale, enterprise-wide initiatives, including technology and product implementations, business transformation projects, strategic and operational planning, new business development and execution, and other priority work as identified by the Office of the CEO and the senior leadership team at WoodGreen. This position currently works in partnership with various units across the organization, to manage, maintain and evolve core software applications.
What You Will Do
Manage and maintain identified core software applications
Act as second-level support and escalation point for identified systems issues
Manage vendor relationship(s), acting as primary point of contact on iterative system changes; partner with technical project manager on more substantive system changes as needed
Intake, understand, prioritize and execute system change requests; includes developing and implementing change request mechanisms and change advisory and decision-making structures
Develop troubleshooting plan for end users; includes both intake of support requests and response activities
Liaise with business (system users), Business Analysts, project managers and others to understand and document key business processes
Liaise with business (system users), Business Analysts, project managers and others to identify, define and implement opportunities for improvement; includes regular review of key reports to identify systems or process gaps and collectively develop continuous improvement plans
Develop, manage and maintain all system(s) documentation, including process documentation SOPs, architecture maps, issues logs, data dictionaries, and other as identified
Liaise with vendor(s) to understand software roadmaps, and leverage findings to inform internal roadmaps
Develop and implement internal roadmap of activities for continued optimal use of core system(s)
Develop and implement governance approach to managing core system(s)
Support overall data and technology strategy, standardizing business processes, practices, and data sets where appropriate
Act as representative of core system(s) to support ongoing evolution of centralized data repository
What You Bring to the Team
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum 3 years of experience with business analytics, business systems analytics, continuous improvement, or similar experience
End-user software training is an asset
What Will Set You Apart
Strong ability to coordinate and support work across multiple different initiatives and teams
Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft PowerBI
Yardi experience is an asset
Excellent analysis and evaluation skills
Demonstrated ability to operate independently with sound problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong ability to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders, and to communicate opportunities for enhancement or risks effectively
Experience in vendor management
Experience in managing software applications
High degree of comfort with Microsoft suite of products (PPT, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.).
Experience in a matrixed reporting structure
