Job Description Overview
Job Title: DC Athlete I
Reports to: AM Shipping Coach
Overview
Responsible for working in a fast-moving team environment, in which loaded corrugated boxes are processed, palletized and shipped out to Nike customers.
Core Accountabilities
Strict adherence to all Nike safety policies and procedures
Report any unsafe conditions. Take appropriate measures to protect your own safety and that of your colleagues
Palletizing customer cartons to specific conditions and sortation rules (PO, Shipment, LP)
Loading and unloading of corrugated boxes onto or from conveyor belts, or pallets
Load/scan corrugate boxes into serialized containers
Ensuring and acknowledge quantities match requested customer order levels.
Repeated use of reporting tools and Microsoft office to track and report data.
Constructing corrugated boxes, and applying shipping labels
Using RF devices to scan/complete material movements in the system
Keep area tidy and organized.
Must be able to interact effectively and work successfully with a diverse group of people on all levels to reach common goals
Other Duties
Must be willing to work with/in other areas as required as well as weekends and overtime as needed
Lifting between 10lbs – 50lbs
Standing for long periods of time
Using appropriate safe cutting tools for tape and boxes
Operation of Pump Truck
Operation of pallet wrapping machines.
Loading product & pallets on and off trailers.
Follow and adhere to departmental and workplace SOP and safety guidelines.
