Insight Global Marketing Manager in Toronto, Ontario

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Marketing Manager to join a leading banking client downtown Toronto. The candidate will be assigned a dedicated portfolio in Capital Markets and become the point of contact and consultant to help these business segments achieve their marketing goals.

This role provides advice and supports the marketing objectives of assigned business segments; maintains an understanding of the business/group to produce effective and integrated marketing solutions; creates, develops, and executes marketing plans that are consistent with brand standards and align to strategic objectives; develops communication plans and framework around content distribution, advertising, client events, webinars and, conferences; and manages cross-functional relationships between the business groups and internal marketing functions to ensure alignment to central marketing processes, business objectives and competitive positioning.

Role Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

Developing Go-To-Market strategies to support clients in BMOs energy-transition portfolio

Activating sponsorships, exhibiting at sponsorship events, and identifying keynote speakers for panel discussions,

Assisting the Events and Conference team to facilitate BMOs lending conferences.

Ad Hoc content creation [writing email campaigns etc]

Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Helps determine business priorities and best sequence for execution.

Conducts independent analysis and assessment to optimize campaigns or resolve strategic issues.

Breaks down strategic problems, and data analyses to provide insights and recommendations.

Monitors and tracks performance and address any issues.

Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.

Provides input into the planning and implementation of operational programs.

Coordinates budgets and reporting to track actual results vs budget.

Integrates information from multiple sources to enable more efficient processes, enhanced analysis and/or streamlined reporting.

Leads/participates in the design, implementation, and management of core business/group processes.

Acts as the day-to-day contact for vendors; supports the implementation, maintenance, and sustainment of vendor solutions.

Develops and implements short- and long-term plans/strategies, activation plans, schedules, budgets, communications, and tactical plans, as required.

Monitors progress against milestones, recommends and implements adjustments as necessary to meet business objectives.

Oversees/coordinates the development and distribution of marketing solutions per assigned channels/media for campaigns, partnerships, and special events/conferences.

Develops and maintains relationships with internal/external partners to include vendors and suppliers.

Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.

Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.

Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support.

Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.

Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.

Skills and Requirements

At least 5 years of relevant experience in corporate communications or a marketing environment preferably B2B, financial services, professional services, or public sector.

Post-secondary degree in B2B Marketing and communications space.

Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, with extensive experience dealing with senior decision makers, possessing the ability to effectively influence.

Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.

Advanced experience in developing Marketing and Customer Communications plans, required.

Analytical and problem-solving skills - In-depth.

Influence skills - In-depth.

Data driven decision making - In-depth.

Project management skills In-depth. Advertising and/or creative agency experience an asset.

Post-secondary degree/certification in communications, project management or B2B marketing an asset.

Experience in sustainability or emissions footprinting null
