Translational Research in Oncology Programmer Analyst l in Toronto, Ontario
Translational Research in Oncology (TRIO) is a global academic clinical research organization dedicated to advancing translational cancer research in the clinical trial setting. Our passionate team is committed to providing cancer treatments of the future to the world of today.
TRIO is looking for a Programmer Analyst to join our Information Services team. Reporting to the Information Systems & Applications Manager, this position will be remote based in Ontario.
TRIO has operations in Canada, USA, France and Uruguay. The main objective of the ISA team is analyzing business needs and user requirements, designing, developing, and maintaining solutions/reports, and support the Clinical applications.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop user requirement specification
Conduct basic code reviews
Write and execute test scripts for various development projects
Develop simple functions and procedures in multiple programming languages
Configure derivation and validation procedures in clinical applications
Create and maintain reports using various reporting tools
Generate and distribute reports to end users
Adhere to company policies, standard operating procedures, instruction manuals, and user guides to maintain the security and integrity of the company applications and databases
Provide support to System Analysts in their daily activities
Occasional evening and weekend support as required
Qualifications:
Diploma or higher in Computer Science or related program
Excellent computer skills and a good understanding of networking technologies
Ability to work well under pressure and strong time management skills
Strong detail-oriented and thoroughness skills
Strong communication and good people skills
Good understanding of relational database concepts
Experience in SQL and C# programming language is required
Experience using rational database management systems like Microsoft SQL server would be an asset
Experience in Clinical Applications would be an asset
Must be legally authorized to work in the country

Pay Range $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 - Salary to be influenced (or determined) by the education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
