Amazon MGM Studios is seeking a visionary Sr Manager, Theatrical Marketing for Canada to lead impactful movie release campaigns that bridge traditional theatrical marketing with innovative digital strategies, all while maintaining Amazon's high standards of excellence.

Job Overview

The Sr Theatrical Marketing Manager for Amazon MGM Studios in Canada will architect and execute large-scale marketing campaigns for our ambitious slate of theatrical releases in collaboration with US and global theatrical teams. This role requires collaborating closely with US and international teams on marketing efforts for concurrent releases, and pivoting quickly in response to audience reception. You'll oversee budgets that leverage both traditional theatrical and digital channels to maximize impact.

Key job responsibilities

• Develop and lead theatrical marketing campaigns in Canada that delight customers and drive box office success for Amazon MGM Studios' films.

• Implement tactics to drive rapid experimentation through data-driven campaign optimization

• Grow and maintain strategic partnerships with key industry players in the Canadian market

• Build marketing budget allocation and optimize spending across channels

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of team management experience

  • 7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience managing teams

  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • • Track record of launching successful theatrical releases in the Canadian market

  • • Experience operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, with overlapping launch dates and priorities.

  • • Strong understanding of both traditional theatrical marketing and digital platforms

  • • Bachelor's degree or industry-equivalent experience in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
