Job Description:

As Vice President – KYC Technology Delivery, you will be part of the AML Remediation Technology leadership team within Enterprise Protect and have accountability for building and implementing world class KYC capabilities for our US and Canadian businesses. This includes leading the definition of product capabilities, and the design, development and implementation of technology to enable such capabilities. This role will report to the Senior Vice President, AML Remediation.

Accountabilities include:

Strategy and Product Development

  • Develop the enterprise product strategy and roadmap for KYC, while ensuring it meets the unique needs of the US and Canada

  • Advance the technology strategy for KYC in partnership with Architecture, including how it fits into the broader US and Canadian technology ecosystems

  • Owning technology decisions and outcomes, while driving technology target state and roadmap-based technology investments and operating with agility and simplicity

Delivery

  • Act as the end to end Platforms and Technology executive leader for KYC delivery across the US and Canadian lines of businesses

  • Negotiating scope, sequencing, budgets and schedules with senior stakeholders and establishing product roadmaps in the US and Canada

  • Engaging with and driving delivery efforts across various CIO teams across Platforms and Technology

  • Ensuring solution approach is in alignment with target state product capabilities and technology architecture

  • Identifying and engaging vendor partners for outsourced efforts; managing the vendor relationships throughout the project lifecycle

Talent Management

  • Establishing a leadership structure to meet growing demands for KYC capabilities in the US and Canada

  • Building out a technology delivery team with the optimal combination of full time talent and vendor partners

  • Partnering with HR and Recruitment to identify & recruit top talent

  • Ongoing talent management to ensure team members have meaningful development plans and rewarding careers

Support and Operations

  • Ensuring operational processes and support structures are in place for the platform

  • Establishing a model for ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements for the platform

  • Driving continuous improvement to ensure optimal availability and resiliency of the platform

Qualifications

  • University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline

  • Previous experience in leading technology delivery for KYC capabilities inclusive of channel and core system capabilities

  • Experience in product development, including creation and gaining alignment of product roadmaps that serve the needs of multiple lines of businesses

  • Must be skilled in navigating the organization, developing meaningful relationships, influencing stakeholders and driving value for the organization

  • Deep technology delivery skills including architecture, systems design, systems integration and DevSecOps

  • Strong technical background with recent hands on experience in performance engineering, digital security, web application architecture, design and development

  • Proven ability to evaluate technology options and drive technology selection / decisions, including build vs buy scenarios

  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing on product and technology strategies that deliver both near term results, while simultaneously building for the future

  • Proven ability to successfully lead transformational change that impacts technology, people and process

  • Skillful communicator and influencer to build relationships advance decision making and effect change over time

  • Strong coach and developer of people with a demonstrated track record in talent management

  • Highly motivated individual, with demonstrated outstanding people management, leadership and coaching skills

  • Thrives in a fast paced environment, managing multiple deadlines and priorities

  • Proven negotiation and influencing abilities, with contract/vendor management experience an asset

  • Strong communicator, with excellent oral, written and presentation skills
