Honeywell Advanced Project Engineer in Torrance, California
Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be part of shaping and driving the turbomachinery engineering strategy across our organization.
You will report directly to the Engineering Program Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES includes:
· Overseeing the design, development and qualification of turbomachinery components including Gas Foil Bearings, Liquid Cooling Systems, Turbine Power Systems, Compressors and Fans which meet customer and internal requirements.
· Leading teams in establishing program plans with respect to cost and schedule.
· Identifying and resolving design problems of performance, strength, weight, material selection and finishes.
· Identifying and incorporating best practices for product design.
· Implementing development and qualification test objectives, writing test procedures, and overseeing the preparation of test units and the conduct of tests.
· Coordinating activities to reduce test data, prepares test reports.
· Production Technical support

The annual base salary range for this position is $117,000 - $148,000. Please note that this
salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various
factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and
responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education
and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
YOU MUST HAVE
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
· 5 years of product development in mechanical equipment experience preferably rotating equipment.
