Robert Half Production Planner in Torrance, California
Description We are seeking a Production Planner to join our team in the healthcare and social assistance industry in Torrance, California. As a Production Planner, you will play a crucial role in managing our production scheduling, ensuring seamless integration of material demands, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the production scheduling using MRP AX Dynamics system and other planning tools, ensuring real-time updates.
• Collaborate closely with Sales & Marketing to align order forecasts with customer demand.
• Coordinate with Process Development and Production teams to schedule production slots for both new and ongoing projects.
• Take responsibility for ensuring timely material release times and quality compliance in collaboration with QC & QA.
• Lead the S& OP process, focusing on effective medium-to-long-term planning.
• Utilize business intelligence tools like AX MRP and Qlik dashboards to align demand planning with real-time performance tracking.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to reduce waste, optimize production flow, and standardize workflows.
• Identify and address bottlenecks in the production process, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate production plans to Project Management for effective timeline management.
• Track and report key performance indicators such as schedule adherence and resource utilization. Requirements • Applicant must have a background in Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industries.
• The role requires expertise as a Production Planner.
• Proficiency in Business Systems is a must.
• Familiarity with Cargowise software is required.
• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is necessary.
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is expected.
• Proficiency in ERP Solutions is crucial.
• Experience with About Time software is required.
• Understanding of Billing Functions within the healthcare industry is necessary.
• Strong Communication skills are essential.
• Excellent Customer Service skills are required.
