Union membership is required at the time of hire or within the applicable application window.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair issues in diesel engines, hydraulics, brakes, transmissions, steering, and other systems
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Run diagnostic tests and interpret results accurately
• Perform Federal Motor Carrier periodic inspections
• Use power, machine and hand tools safely
• Follow all repair shop regulations and standards

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience as a truck and/or heavy equipment mechanic

``` - Proficient in equipment software diagnosis, and repair, based on manufacturing specifications

``` - Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems - Experience in welding preferred - Experience repairing paving equipment a plus
