Your Key Responsibilities
Define specifications (SOR, product performance requirements) through customer interaction Define concept and product data to fit customer application, jointly with product development engineer Lead team meetings and track project, product, and budget changes to ensure project meets defined targets Report project status to Schaeffler management as related to quality, timing, cost (QTC) and project budget Complete and sign off the DVP&R together with the customer and development degineer Initiate and conduct the System FMEA with customer engineer and support development of the Design FMEA
Your Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, but other engineering degrees or equivalent technical experience will be considered Ability to manage customer projects independently Ability to manage project progress in terms of quality, time, and costs (QTC) Strong communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Software Experience with project management software Good command of engineering principles - materials, design, dynamics, structures, manufacturing Knowledge of APQP requirements
