Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
The candidate will be working on the production line for a new ramp-up with Ford. They will be responsible for assembling materials, operating machines, inspecting parts, and preparing items for shipment. Additionally, candidates may be involved in component assembly and must maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Responsibilities
Work on the production line for a new ramp-up with Ford.
Assemble materials and operate machines.
Inspect parts after lifting them off the line.
Place inspected parts into boxes for shipment.
Possibly assemble components.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Essential Skills
6 months of recent experience in a manufacturing background.
Experience in a recent role as a production worker, operator, assembler, or warehouse position within the last 6 months.
Ability to lift 40 lbs.
Visual inspection experience, identifying defects such as scratches, paint marks, and dents.
Longevity at each job, with 8 months or longer at past 3 jobs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical skills.
Machine operating experience.

Employees receive shift premium pay even while training on days. There is a monthly attendance bonus of $60 once direct. A profit-sharing program is available at the end of each year, which can range from $600 to $1300 depending on attendance, performance, and safety.
Work Environment
The work environment is currently undergoing improvements and will become cleaner. The team operates as a 6-person unit. Required attire includes work pants, work shirt, closed-toed shoes, safety glasses, and a face mask. Candidates must pass a drug test and sign a waiver. Shifts run from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday through Saturday, with potential overtime during the launch period.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of TROY, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.35 - $16.35/hr.
