WebmobileZ, Inc. has an opening for the position of Sr. Full Stack Developer (Ref# SFSD16VN).

Work Location:  Troy, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Job Duties:  Design, develop, implement, test, maintain, and support applications software or specialized utility programs, and major enhancements of existing systems for client projects.  Involved in all phases of the software development life-cycle (SDLC).  Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software applications using Java, Spring Boot, C#, React, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, Bootstrap, and other relevant technologies.  Collaborate with other developers, designers, and product managers to understand project requirements and deliverables.  Design and implement software architecture and systems that are secure, reliable, and performant.  Design and implement large-scale system architectures using microservices architecture patterns.  Implement responsive web designs using HTML, Bootstrap, and other front-end technologies.  Develop and maintain APIs using RESTful principles and other relevant technologies.  Implement security measures such as OAuth2, JWT, and SSL to protect microservices and APIs.  Write clean, concise, and well-documented code using best practices and established coding standards.  Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure that software is free of defects and meets requirements.  Work with other team members to establish and follow Agile development practices, including sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives.  Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes.  Use Docker and Kubernetes to containerize and orchestrate applications for deployment in a cloud environment.  Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software functionality, performance, and security.  Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and recommend improvements to current systems and processes.  Mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and support as needed. Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders, and ensure that project timelines and budgets are met.  Continuously improve the quality and efficiency of the software development process through process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:  This position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.  Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Software Engineer, Consultant Developer, or related experience.  Will accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience.  Position requires 2 years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, Microservices, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.  Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein.  40hrs/week.
