Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Controller to become a key part of our client's team. Based in Tucson, Arizona, this role involves overseeing accounting functions, managing job budgets, and preparing financial statements among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Cash Receipts functions.

• Conduct a thorough review and management of job budgets.

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all job cost transactions.

• Prepare interim financial statements on a monthly basis, complete with supporting schedules and analysis for multiple entities.

• Coordinate the preparation of annual financial statements and liaise with external auditors.

• Handle coordination of W-2, 1099, benefit, and state reporting.

• Enforce the use of lien waivers in all transactions.

• Review and ensure the accurate preparation of draws and billing in accordance with contract documents. Also, ensure the correct treatment of Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT).

• Oversee all job cost accounting and compliance functions.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Skilled in using Concur

• Familiarity with Crystal Reports

• Understanding and experience with DCAA

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Auditing

• Proficient in Billing Functions
