Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Total Rewards Specialist to join our team located in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves a variety of responsibilities including benefits review, payroll processing, and employee relations within the industry. The successful candidate will be expected to ensure the smooth operation of our HRIS system, maintain compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and assist in the management of our benefits and compensation programs.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate processing of payroll, including timecards and garnishments

• Administer and review benefits programs, including 401k and short term disability

• Provide detailed and accurate information about benefits to team members

• Manage the HRIS system, specifically Paycom, and assist the team in navigating it

• Participate in the collection and maintenance of HR data related to compensation, benefits, and payroll for improvement recommendations

• Assist in the management of the leave of absence program, including FMLA and LOA

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and payroll laws and regulations

• Serve as an advisor on Total Rewards Program matters to Managers and Supervisors

• Oversee and coordinate staff position descriptions, transfers, promotions, and terminations

• Conduct research and propose innovative ideas and solutions to various challenges, aligning department activities and outcomes with the organization’s strategies.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Compensation & Benefits Specialist or in a similar role

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Experience with Ceridian and Cisco Webex Meetings

• CRM knowledge is necessary

• Strong auditing skills

• Familiarity with benefit functions and claim administration

• Experience with Cobra Administration

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with various departments

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality

• Knowledge of current compensation and benefits legislation and regulations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required.
