Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team. As a manufacturer of low-density film and protective flexible packaging, we have been serving the Western United States and Canada for over 25 years. We offer 100% custom engineered solutions to our customers with a diverse set of production capabilities. Hard Skills

• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems

• Installation, adjustment, disassemble, repair, and reassemble motors, gear boxes, pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders and valves, and other components

• Review and interpret work orders, tie-ins, technical manuals, machine operations

• Develop maintenance procedures and devise tools to facilitate work

• Use a computer to track, document equipment problems, submit/review, and close work orders and PMs

• Electrical troubleshooting

• VFDs

• Electrical control panels

• Hydraulics

• Pneumatics

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication with production employees and management

• Willingness to work overtime based on business requirements

• Positive attitude

• Excellent attendance

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Tukwila, Washington.

Work Environment

Must be physically able to access all equipment and work at heights up to 70 feet. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform frequent stooping, bending, standing, kneeling, reaching, climbing, pulling, pushing, crouching, walking, and lifting. May require crawling and twisting. Must wear safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes. Follow all plant safety rules/policies, SQF, and HACCP requirements. We have 13 extrusion lines. Start times for these positions could be anywhere from 8am-12pm; please ensure candidates have no shift limitations.
