Waste Connections Diesel Mechanic in Twin Falls, Idaho
PSI Environmental Systems , a Waste Connections company, is looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join the team at Twin Falls, ID! Mechanics interested in secure, steady employment are encouraged to apply. At least 1 year of experience doing maintenance on diesel trucks is preferred.
Scheduled Work Week: Monday – Friday.
Mon-Thurs: Swing Shift 2:00pm - Until work is finished. (Generally 12hrs .)
Friday: Early Start Day 9:00am - Until work is finished. (Generally 8hrs .)
Starting pay is $ 24+ DOE.
Guaranteed Overtime: Time and a half after 40 hours a week!

Responsibilities Include:
Inspects and repairs vehicles with diesel engines
Handles routine repairs, including oil and tire changes along with minor and major repairs from A/C, hydraulics, electrical, welding, engine replacement, transmissions, etc.
Interprets diagnostic test results accurately
Writes detailed inspection reports and repair plans in our system
Collaborates with other diesel mechanics
Completes test drives to make sure the vehicle runs correctly
Uses power, machine, and hand tools safely
Communicate with drivers for issues in morning and afternoon
Reviews, completes or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards
Follows all Waste Connections repair shop regulations and standards
