Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in both mechanical and electrical industrial maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment within our manufacturing facility. This role requires the ability to troubleshoot and operate machines to ensure optimal performance while maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment within the manufacturing facility.

  • Operate and troubleshoot machines to ensure optimal performance.

  • Use precision measuring instruments to assess equipment functionality and make necessary adjustments.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

  • Identify and resolve electrical issues within machinery using a multi meter.

  • Collaborate and provide insights on equipment performance and maintenance needs.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing maintenance tasks.

  • Perform mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

  • Conduct maintenance on punch presses, stamping presses, industrial tumblers, dryers, and heat presses.

  • Perform basic PLC troubleshooting using inputs and outputs without the need to program or edit programs.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.

  • Communicate with vendors for replacement parts orders.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

  • Electrical troubleshooting using a multi meter.

  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.

  • Knowledge of PLC inputs and outputs.

  • Basic facilities maintenance experience.

  • Proficiency in using basic hand tools.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
