to lead and expand our engineering team, drive product innovation, and
deliver market-leading RF and DSP technologies.
Job Description: The Vice President of Engineering will provide
strategic leadership and technical oversight for the RF and DSP
engineering teams. This executive will be responsible for driving
product development, leading multi-disciplinary teams, and ensuring
technical excellence. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking leader
with deep expertise in RF and DSP technologies, a proven track record of
delivering complex systems, and the ability to foster a collaborative
and innovative culture.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Innovation
Develop and execute the company’s engineering strategy aligned with
business goals.
Lead RF and DSP product development from concept through production,
ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
Identify emerging technologies and market trends to drive innovation
and competitive advantage.
Collaborate with senior leadership to define and prioritize R&D
initiatives and long-term technology roadmaps.
Technical Oversight & Execution
Provide hands-on technical leadership in Digital Signal Processing
(DSP) and Radio Frequency (RF) systems, including algorithm
development, signal analysis, and system architecture.
Oversee thedesign, development, anddeploymentof high-performance
RF systems, including software-defined radios (SDR), communication
systems, and spectrum management solutions.
Ensure technical compliance with industry standards, government
regulations, and customer specifications (e.g.,FCC, ITU, MIL-STD).
Team Leadership & Development
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team across
DSP, RF, hardware, and software disciplines.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous
improvement.
Drive the recruitment and retention of top engineering talent and
establish career development programs.
Operational Excellence
Establish and refine engineering processes, including design
reviews, testing procedures, and quality assurance.
Manage budgets, resource allocation, and timelines for engineering
projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Product
Management, Operations) to align technical efforts with business
objectives.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering,
or a related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
Experience:
10+ years of experience in RF and DSP product development, with at
least 5 years in a senior engineering leadership role.
Proven track record of delivering RF and DSP-based systems in
high-tech industries (e.g., defense, telecommunications, or
aerospace).
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams (hardware, software, and
systems engineers) across the entire product development lifecycle.
Technical Expertise:
Deep understanding of Digital Signal Processing (DSP): algorithms,
modulation, demodulation, and spectral analysis.
Strong knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) systems: receivers,
transmitters, antennas, and RF chain design.
Experience with Software-Defined Radios (SDR), FPGA-based
architectures, andMATLABmodeling.
Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g.,LTE, 5G, SATCOM) and
signal intelligence (SIGINT).
Leadership & Business Acumen:
Proven ability to translate business objectives into actionable
technical strategies.
Experience managing engineering budgets, timelines, and resource
planning.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to
present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in government/DoD programs and knowledge of MIL-STD and
RF spectrum regulations.
Expertise in machine learning applications for signal processing.
