JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The College of Engineering Dean's Office is seeking motivated and dedicated administrative support professionals to join our collaborative team. These positions are integral to ensuring the efficient and effective operations of the Dean’s Office and will provide comprehensive support to a variety of areas, including the Dean, the Associate Dean for Faculty, the Associate Dean for Equity and Inclusion, and the Leonhard Center for Enhancement of Engineering Education.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Coordination: Support critical functions such as organizing and coordinating meetings, workshops, and events, including scheduling, preparing materials, managing logistics and providing backup support to scholarship administration, promotion and tenure documentation, and other program support processes.
Assist with budget planning for programs and monitor budget expenditures.
Communication and Document Management: Serve as a point of contact and resource for faculty, staff, students, and external partners, maintaining clear and professional communication. Draft, edit, and manage correspondence, reports, and other documents with attention to accuracy and confidentiality.
Task Prioritization: Balance workload among team members, providing backup support when necessary to maintain seamless operations.
Assist in developing and refining office processes and procedures to enhance efficiency.

Proficiency in office technology and software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

Education and Experience:
This position requires a High School Diploma/GED or Vocational Training/Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:
$38,300.00 - $55,500.00
