Administrative Culture Associate

The Administrative and Talent & Culture Teams are the heart of our studio; ensuring that business operations move forward, and our studio team is supported and engaged. We’re looking for a Administrative & Culture Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will possess interpersonal, organizational and event planning skills, the ability to anticipate needs, and a willingness to support organizational growth and health. This role interacts with employees across all domains of the studio. If you enjoy multi-tasking, balancing priorities and curating meaningful and impactful employee experiences, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day operations to ensure the Studio runs smoothly and staff are supported.

  • Plan and execute studio social events and holiday celebrations in accordance with the rhythm of business (ROB) calendar to promote studio culture, values and increase employee morale.

  • Spearhead the Social Committee by promoting a culture of collaboration and partnership to bring social events and occasions to life.

  • Manage the studio swag program by keeping a pulse on inventory items, sourcing items, preparing proposals, promotion and shipping logistics.

  • Keep a pulse on relevant talent and employee experience trends and events to gather and provide insight for future studio needs and events.

  • Liaise with with external vendors, partners and across Microsoft teams to cultivate and maintain industry contacts and relationships to continually improve the studio experience.

  • Support the External Development manager with the creation and submission of contracts, statements of work and amendments within the procurement system.

  • Partner with other stakeholders on Talent & Culture projects as needed including onboarding, learning series, etc.

  • Ensure compliance with studio operations policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in HR, operations or administrative role. Preferred in video games or equivalent industry.

  • Excellent interpersonal relationship building and communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality of information.

  • Ability to prioritize work, anticipate and adapt to challenges and complete projects on time.

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office software including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and Excel and LinkedIn recruitment tools.

  • Strong customer service orientation, self-directed, positive outlook.

  • Must be adaptable and work successfully in a team environment, building and maintaining effective working relationships with a diverse group of contributors internally and externally.

  • Occasional work after core-hours and evening events.

  • Candidates must have the ability to lift/move up to 30 pounds.
