Job Title: Carpenter Foreman

$40-42 per hour

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Foreman to lead and oversee our team on various commercial special projects. The role involves tasks such as formwork, cladding, envelope work, and civil works. You will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 workers and ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a team of 5-10 workers on commercial special projects.

• Execute tasks such as formwork, cladding, envelope work, and civil works.

• Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

• Use hand and power tools, including skill saws and nail guns.

• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

• Coordinate with the site superintendent and report project progress.

• Ensure team adherence to safety protocols, including Fall Protection training.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a foreman.

• At least 1 year of experience with formwork.

• Proven experience leading a team of 2-5 workers or laborers.

• Proficiency with power tools, including skill saws and nail guns.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Completion of Fall Protection in-person training.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must have a car for transportation.

Work Environment

You will be working with a subcontractor on site, focusing on smaller projects that typically last 4-8 weeks before moving to a new site. Start times may vary by site, including 6am, 7am, and 7:30am. Overtime is available, and teamwork is essential to meet project deadlines.
