Job Description

We are seeking experienced carpenters to join our team for a variety of commercial special projects. Your tasks will include formwork, cladding, envelope work, and civil projects. You will be responsible for applying membrane, insulation, concrete cladding, building forms, stripping forms, installing metal structures, setting up scaffolding, and regularly lifting materials up to 25lbs up three sets of stairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform formwork, cladding, envelope work, and civil projects

• Apply membrane and insulation

• Handle concrete cladding, building forms, and stripping forms

• Install metal structures

• Set up scaffolding

• Lift materials up to 25lbs regularly

• Work on multiple floors

• Work independently and follow blueprints

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a carpenter

• 1+ year of experience with formwork or envelope

• Completed Fall Protection in-person training

• Proficiency with power tools, including skill saw and nail gun

• Possess a tool belt and hand tools

• Basic knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints

• Ability to work independently

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Commercial envelope experience

• Car for future site projects

Work Environment

You will be working on multiple floors in a fast-paced and safety-focused environment. Parking is limited, so taking the train is recommended, but having a car is necessary for future projects. You will report directly to the site supervisor with varying start times by site, including 6am, 7am, and 7:30am. Overtime is available, and team collaboration is essential.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00/hr.
