Job Title: Low Voltage Technician

$25-$30 per hour

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing sensors, open and close features, automatic door operators, electric strikes, mag locks, and card readers. You will need to read and follow step-by-step instructions to ensure proper installation.

Responsibilities

• Install sensors, open and close features, automatic door operators, electric strikes, mag locks, and card readers.

• Read and follow detailed instructions for installation.

• Operate hand tools and power tools safely.

• Problem solve and navigate iPads for various tasks.

• Ensure all work is completed with attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a low voltage electrician, specifically in wiring doors and controls.

• Experience with controls, hand tools, power tools, and control systems.

• Ability to read blueprints and follow installation instructions.

• Proficient in using iPads for work-related tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must have a car.

• Basic tools required for the job.

• Must wear PPE at all times, including a hard hat, 6" steel-toe boots, high-visibility clothing, gloves, clear safety glasses, and a lanyard for the hard hat.

Work Environment
