We are seeking an experienced, highly technical, and entrepreneurial Bridge Engineer to join our Seattle, Bothell, or Vancouver, WA offices. With a minimum of ten (10) years of experience and strong technical and project management skills, you will help lead and grow our bridge design team. Responsibilities Lead the planning, administration, and design of structural bridge projects, ensuring compliance with state and federal standards. Conduct detailed structural analysis, seismic analysis, and design for various bridge projects. Develop and review engineering calculations for reinforced and prestressed concrete, steel structures, and other materials. Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, plans, specifications, and estimates. Utilize engineering software packages such as Midas Civil, LEAP Bridge Enterprise, L-Pile, LEAP Bridge Steel, and MathCAD for project delivery. Ensure timely delivery of PS&E contract documents, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams across various geographic locations. Conduct quality control and assurance activities to maintain high standards in project execution. Apply advanced seismic design principles and non-linear analysis techniques to bridge projects. Develop quantities and cost estimates, ensuring projects stay within budget. Collaborate with CADD technicians to develop detailed bridge plans and specifications. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, code requirements, and client objectives. Qualifications Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering required; Master's Degree in Structural Engineering preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license in Oregon and Washington required or the ability to obtain through reciprocity; PE licenses in other states a plus. Structural Engineer (SE) certification preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience as a bridge engineer, including design, plan preparation, structural analysis, seismic analysis and design, quantity calculation, and construction support services. Experience with ODOT and WSDOT projects a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience managing tasks, projects, and professional staff. Proven history of meeting project deadlines and budgets. Familiarity with engineering software packages such as Midas Civil, LEAP Bridge Enterprise, L-Pile, LEAP Bridge Steel, and MathCAD a plus. Proficiency with MicroStation (ORD a plus) and Civil3D.
