Overview:
ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Business Systems Analyst 3 position is a combination of business and data analysis, business systems analysis, and Power BI report development. The primary focus of this role is to perform data modeling, data analysis, and reporting to provide consumable information, visibility into critical data metrics, and insights that assist data-driven decision-making. This position promotes data integrity, monitors data quality, and executes timely reporting. This position also involves assessing customer needs, identifying sources of data, and preparing data models and reports (dashboards, visualizations, tables, etc.). This full-time position is located in Vancouver, WA.
Pay rate: $48.32 - $69.03

Responsibilities:
- Reporting & Business Intelligence:
- Design and develop business intelligence solutions with tools such as Microsoft SSRS and Power BI.
- Provide report troubleshooting using tools such as SQL and database analysis.
- Research and review potential software and or systems; analyze applicability for organizational use and provide recommendations to manager of TPW.
- Utilize industry best practices and principles, methods, and procedures in system integration, integrate data from various systems, and optimize information systems components.
- Extract, interpret, and disseminate findings from large datasets by employing techniques and theories drawn from the fields of mathematics, statistics, information technology, computer programming, data engineering, pattern recognition, predictive analytics, data science, data architecture, data warehousing, and high-performance computing.
- Program and refine highly complex, enterprise-level databases to provide efficient, cost effective, and secure data warehouses with integrated automation, governance and standardization.
- Develop and maintain electronic information portals (dashboards) for wide dissemination of data inside and outside of the TPW org; information portals will facilitate ad-hoc analyses by providing quick, easy access to data and information.
- Explain and interpret database architecture, data capabilities, and limitations to supervisors, senior management, co-workers, stakeholders, and other interested parties.
- Utilize reverse engineering techniques on de-normalized, unstructured, and undocumented data from large datasets to recommend and deliver solutions to enterprise-level problems.
- Verify compliance with all data security requirements and regulations and facilitate the protection of large volumes of data.
- Identify potential areas where new tools and technologies can be used, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business strategies
- Use advanced diagnostic analytical and design capabilities to verify that the best solution is recommended to the customer.
- Work closely with IT groups to coordinate current and future IT plans and activities, including coordination and technical assistance to facilitate specific development projects that involve the computing environment.
- Review business processes to maintai
