  • Job #7922 Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Project Coordinator position will manage and maintain multiple project and program schedules for the assigned organization, supporting various scheduling staff. Additional responsibilities include developing and managing bundle-level schedules, supporting existing demand and capacity systems across various organizations, and providing procedures and training. This position will also be tasked with project control components such as resource management in Microsoft Project Web Application (PWA) and Microsoft Project Server, schedule reporting, bundle schedule maintenance, reviewing and commenting on third-party schedules, conducting time impact analysis, cost and resource loading, and regularly performing schedule updates in Microsoft Server. Additionally, the position will manage detailed Gantt schedules in Microsoft Project with rolling look-ahead to forecast demand and capacity, condu ct critical path analysis, prepare schedule variance reports comparing baseline to schedule updates, resources, and percent complete. This full-time position is located in Vancouver, WA. Pay range: $31.54 - $40.64 Benefits:

  • NOTE: Provides Support to the assigned Project Manager(s). May NOT be given sole responsibility for any phase of an on-going project, no matter the complexity or dollar amount of the project or phase of a project. May NOT have primary responsibility for determining the Scope, Funding, or Schedule of a project or phase of a project. Assists the PMs and PCs to track, report, and alert others on risks or changes needed to any of these areas. May not be identified in writing, verbally, or on any correspondence, documentation or official records as the "Project Manager".
  • Support projects assigned by project manager, from beginning to end, by helping on the PMI-based project management methodology, best practices, and internal skill development as requested by and with guidance from the manager, team lead or other personnel with the authority to do so, including:
  • Address and navigate politically sensitive issues in a collaborative and professional manner with manager/federal personnel assistance and guidance.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with engineering, construction, contractors, field staff, project staff, and other stakeholders in the organization business unit, on a consistent and/or as needed basis. Create/draft written and verbal sponsor or stakeholder communications throughout the life of the project.
  • Coordinate with various resource managers related project control tools relative to demand capacity, set up and configured in accordance with the organization's expectations and synchronized with the MSP governance and policy, tools, systems and procedures.

  • Develop and maintain earned value analysis.
