If you are a self-starter known for your collaboration and communication skills, come join us! We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with FAA Part 121 (Air Carriers) and FAA Part 145 (Repair Stations) regulations, as well as commercial maintenance plans, and demonstrate excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills. This role involves managing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements.

Responsibilities:
Develop and/or maintain maintenance schedules for the fleet in compliance with FAA Part 121 and FAA Part 145 regulations
Coordinate with Program Operations Manager, Modification Operations Manager, Engineering, Logistics, and Procurement to ensure efficient planning and execution of all maintenance activities
Determine requirements for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
Utilize maintenance tracking software to monitor aircraft status and schedule necessary maintenance actions
Prepare and distribute work orders and maintenance packages to appropriate teams
Ensure availability of required parts, tools, and equipment for maintenance tasks
Review and analyze aircraft data to optimize maintenance planning
Manage and update maintenance records in accordance with FAA regulations
Monitor and report on maintenance progress to ensure timely completion and compliance
Coordinate with third-party maintenance providers as needed
Assist in developing and maintaining budgetary and logistical plans for aircraft maintenance
Develop plans to recover from operational disruptions that conflict with scheduled maintenance
Must-haves:
Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of experience across aircraft maintenance
Familiarity with FAA Part 121 and FAA Part 145 regulations and standards.
Proficient in using maintenance management software such as Veryon Tracker or MES
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and external stakeholders
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed
Experience with ATA aircraft manuals, including Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC), and Fault Isolation Manual (FIM), for both line and base level maintenance
Experience with commercial maintenance plans
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Preferred:
FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic License
Previous experience in an airline or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) Part 145 environment
