Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design and develop training programs that emphasize quality assurance, product safety, and regulatory compliance.

  • Ensure training materials are up-to-date with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in quality management.

  • Incorporate best practices in adult learning and technical training methodologies.

  • Conduct training sessions for new hires, existing employees, and management with a focus on quality and compliance.

  • Utilize various training methods, including classroom instruction, hands-on workshops, e-learning, and on-the-job training.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve quality outcomes.

  • Ensure all training programs comply with aviation industry regulations and company policies.

  • Promote a culture of safety and quality through rigorous training and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Conduct regular safety and quality training and drills.

  • Assess employee performance and identify areas for improvement in quality and compliance.

  • Provide coaching and mentoring to employees to enhance their skills and knowledge in quality assurance.

  • Develop and implement performance metrics to measure training effectiveness and quality improvements.

  • Work closely with department heads, quality assurance teams, and subject matter experts to identify training needs related to quality and compliance.

  • Communicate training schedules, objectives, and outcomes to all stakeholders.

  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning and development in quality management.

  • Provides expertise in analyzing learning needs, designing training solutions for a business or function.

  • Developing specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest functional developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensures delivery within area of responsibility.

  • Skilled influencer, able to communicate complex messages to others. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus.

  • Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems that impact the function. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, preferably in the aviation industry with a focus on quality and compliance.

  • Strong understanding of quality standards, and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to design and deliver effective quality and compliance training programs.

  • Experience with e-learning platforms and training software.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
