Quality and Packaging Specialist sought by Learning Resources, Inc. in Vernon Hills, IL. 40 hrs/wk. Duties include: Inspect incoming product per set QC criteria including accuracy, functionality, & damage control, & release to warehouse. Collaborate on packaging solutions for educational kit pkgs, to determine component placement to maximize efficiency & ensuring labeling & transit. Audit in-house assemblies, direct customer orders, & special customer orders for accuracy, appearance, & compliance per AQL standards. Work with Ops Team/Spvrs to maintain inspection plan & enforce accountability. Suggest continuous improvement for incoming inspection, assemblies, shipments, & order picking directly to warehouse spvrs or to BOM. Review, evaluate & maximize product process flow through warehouse sys. Quality & hazardous item identification. Cross-train with other inspectors, providing support & coverage for assembly, receiving, shipping quality checks. Manage data supporting inspection findings & report/present metrics. Manage internal product rework. Keep product knowledge for existing & new product. MIN.REQ.: Bach. degree, or foreign equiv.No req. field or area of study. 1 yr. exp. in Project Mgmt. OTHER REQ.: Personal transportation to/from work*. *Salary Range: \$50,000 to \$58,600 Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: yrs of exp., skill set or location.
