Position Summary

As Aircraft Maintenance Technician at Jet Aviation, you will be working as part of a dedicated maintenance team and will be responsible for successfully carrying out a variety of maintenance tasks on an aircraft in accordance with Jet Aviation procedures and aviation regulations. You will be operating under the Jet Aviation Part 145 approval, the Jet Aviation Health and Safety policy, customer requests and other airworthiness requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist the Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in conducting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on aircraft in accordance with manufacturers specifications and company procedures.

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems and components of the aircraft under the direction of the Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

  • Perform inspections, servicing, and replacement of parts, and carry out necessary repairs

  • Executes inspections, modifications, maintenance tasks, repairs within trade skills while ensuring safety and product quality on aircrafts

  • Performs installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs on airplanes using one or more trade skills

  • Record all maintenance activities accurately and timely in the maintenance management system, including Ensuring the timely and accurate recording of work executed on the aircraft and Preparing and maintaining records of completed maintenance repair work.

  • Assist in conducting functional checks and tests of aircraft systems and equipment

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship

  • Work closely with other maintenance personnel and departments to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance maintenance processes and procedures

  • Maintains current knowledge of all applicable procedures and safety measures

  • Other duties as may be required from time-to-time in order to support operational and business success.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least two years of relevant experience in a Part 145 organization Mechanical/technical apprenticeship (preferably in aviation or related field)

  • Basic level of English, minimum B1 level (B2 preferred) / must be able to read and understand maintenance tasks in English manuals

  • Ability to complete basic maintenance tasks with full supervision from the Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (e.g. removing panels, lubrication, cleaning)

  • Ability to complete maintenance tasks independently

  • Ability to remove and install aircraft parts, perform GVI and DI

  • Ability to complete maintenance tasks independently and without supervision

  • EU citizenship or valid work and residence permit
